I see the ghastly Alexei Sayle was coming out with yet more anti-Israel nonsense over the weekend. He really wants the big anti-semite bullies to like him, doesn’t he?
Look at this from his blog earlier this month: “I have no particular affection for Hamas, Hizbullah or the current leadership in Iran”. No particular affection? What a peculiar choice of phrase. If someone asked me what I think of, say, risotto, then I might say I have no particular affection for it. But if someone asked me what I thought of anti-semites and terrorists, I’d come down a bit stronger. But then, unlike Alexei, I don’t march and speak alongside Hamas supporters.
Anyway, Alexei, the good news is that the feeling is mutual. They have no particular affection for you either. They’re anti-semites through and through and are merely using your gullibility for propaganda purposes. The sooner you wake up to that the better.
It’s worth taking a look at the aforementioned post on his blog. His assessment of the situation is so gullible that it’s actually funnier than any joke he’s ever told.

Only one thing to say really – what a jerk! Then again,I guess he has to do something with his time now that his tv career is, thankfully, finished.
I know what you mean. But in a way I’d rather his tv career started up again. Then he could stop all this grovelling for the bullies’ approval and just tell jokes again.
More ‘celebs’ have come out against the BBC on the ‘Gaza Aid’ issue.

There is a rumour he was famous back in the 80’s. Never liked the man myself. Just another one of those left-wing media types that view the world through rose-tinted specs. The BBC is infested with them.
[...] agree with all Paul’s conclusions about the conflict, but I wish that other celebrities – the ghastly Alexei Sayle springs to mind – were as honest and soul-searching as him. Paul’s article is well worth a [...]
