I agree with NM in that this is a very dangerous and worrying situation. I've had otherwise reasonable and level headed friends berate me quite violently just for saying that 'Israel has a point' in attacking Hamas. It is extremely dodgy when normal people start parroting the lies and propaganda of Hamas as some form of truth. Great new blog. And for the Health Minister, Ben Bradshaw, to feel that he could openly - and irrationally! - accuse Israel of 'bullying' the BBC should set alarm bells ringing with the Jewish community. "Let's just not talk about it. I'll say things that'd probably offend you. I'm too angry about bloody Israel at the moment to think straight". Startling, to say the least, but not uncommon. Israel-hatred as an irrational, psychosexual phenomenon seems to have seeped into every corner of this isle.
