Earlier this month Lord Ahmed called for British Jews serving with the Israel Defence Force to be arrested.
This morning he woke up in prison himself.
You’d need a heart of stone not to punch the air with joy.

surely there should be some reference (as long as it doesn’t get this blog in trouble) about him being involved in the death of an innocent person….
Ironically, the idea of putting the IDF British jewish citizens in jail regardless of whether they were in combat or at the support level just because of this made up crime against humanity is preposterous if not ridiculous. He should have asked the British Muslim citizens to enlist with Hamas in order to wage war. I think this could have been more in tune with his thuggish mature and self-grandizing personality.
If the Charity Commission had banned Interpal – like the US, Canada and Australia – woud Lord Ahmed have mobilised 10,000 Muslims from his cell?

This is wonderful news – although he will be out in 6 weeks! He could have been given up to 2 years for the crime.
That said he will not be out of place in prison. There is halal meat and imans on site to address his religious needs. All his Human Rights will be maintained.
He will return in 6 weeks to a media frenzy and a higher profile and no doubt his seat in the House of Lords will be waiting for him.
It is worth checking out his biography and then play the game I like – how did he get his peerage? He has done nothing, absolutely nothing for the UK.
