Incidentally, I can recommend an interesting novel that is set in Tel Aviv during the final years of the Mandate. It’s called When I Lived In Modern Times by Linda Grant.
by all means take down some of the ‘beyond the pale’ posts of mine, but if you leave up a few argumentative ones, you’ll get a lot more traffic…it’s guaranteed !
