That second marathon was very tough. It was a very windy day and we were running into the wind for a lot of the course. It was like running a marathon while pushing a shopping trolley full of heavy goods. I hope the runners today are having it better, though it seems a touch too warm to be ideal conditions. Respect to them all. The marathon is one thing in life nobody can cheat at. If you get round the 26 miles (even those who walk most of it and take 6 or more hours) you have done something amazing. But be warned, you will only be able to walk downstairs backwards for days afterwards! Thanks! That second marathon was very tough.
