Well, I’m biased but I think the rest of the book is great too! It’s split 50/50 between Julie and myself. My other essays include ones about the hypocrisy of the ‘anti-war’ movement, anti-Americans and Cuba-lovers. Julie writes about the hypocrisy of Westerners who fetishise Arab culture, Catholic hypocrisy and the double-standards of the Green movement. There’s loads more too, a good mixture of serious and fun topics. There are a few other extracts on this blog, just click on ‘Not In My Name’ on the ‘Categories’ section on the right-hand side of the page.
I enjoyed the little “story” at the back of the book. Did you both write that together? It must have been a hoot to put together those two ghastly (but oddly believable) characters.
Haha – The Hypocrite’s Ultimate Weekend. Thanks! Yes, I remember the merry afternoons writing that together. They are truly ghastly characters, aren’t they? The first version of it was obscene, I told Julie we had to tone it down.
You don’t have any previous obscene drafts that you might leak, do you?

Haha! Well….there is also all the libellous stuff that was cut by lawyers. The Dawn French essay but Julie and mine on Tony Benn spring to mind. I think one day the Dawn French essay must see the light of day!
You couldn’t forward those to my Email address could you? I’d love to read them and will delete them as soon as I’ve done so. Dawn French and Tony Benn annoy me intensely, so a bit of Friday catharsis may well be in order.

Yes it is a good chapter but Chas never underestimate how much cowardice fuels the ‘pro-Palestinian’ movement. People think that if only Israel disappeared then everything would be good and the nasty terrorists would also disappear. I agree that the Palestinian bandwagon is full of secret antisemites and hypocrites but it also has its fair share of cowards. What a shower they are, they dont care about the Palestinians one bit.
