“By taking these actions and many other significant measures during Operation Cast Lead the IDF did more to safeguard the rights of civilians in a combat zone than any other army in the history of warfare.”
So said Colonel Richard Kemp during his speech about the conflict.

Funny, I do not recall this being seen on the BBC, but in fairness to them, of course there are only 24 hours in the day, and how could this be fitted in without compromising air time to the various Arab terror group’s spokespeople.

So, my message is do not make the mistake of complaining about what has been said in the media, and in doing so give credibility to their biased agenda. You should be complaining about what has NOT been broadcast, and in doing so force them to comply with your agenda.

Actually Mike (and it pains me to be defending the very ant-Israel BBC), Richard Kemp was first seen giving a version of this speech on the BBC during Operation Cast Lead. I doubt it was their intention to give a platform for such a robust defense of Israel, but nonetheless, it was they who brought his opinions on Israel to most people’s attention:

  3. I love him! Considering that every word he just said is the truth, it’s quite amazing really how differently other people see the IDF.

Great speech from a professional without a polical agenda.
