Work began on a new wall along the border of the Gaza Strip this week. American army engineers are involved in the construction.

I’m amazed there hasn’t been noisy outrage about this from the ‘pro-Palestinian’ movement who so tirelessly complain about the West Bank security barrier which has saved so many Israeli lives.

I wonder why they are not also angry about this one? Oh, I see….

A woman I worked alongside several years ago said I was so relentlessly sarcastic that she coined a new word to describe my way of communicating: sarchasm. I thought it sounded a tad lewd…

So a 60 foot deep ‘wall’ has been built on the border between Egypt and Gaza to stop the smuggling tunnels which bring Iranian military materiel from Egypt and all points beyond into Gaza.

Amazing that the Beirut Broadcasting Corporation mentioned it at all, unless they were keen to show how unsporting the world was, cutting off the supply of Hamas’s toys from Iran. Shame.
