ty for great article.you know i read different blogs a lot. channel 4 is a flowers in comparism whats going on with internet mass media. people playing with facts making israel unpredictable agressor who kills innocent people all the time. sure, there are very few people who suppirts ahmadinejad, but for some reason there are lots of his crimes who nobody discussed. heres just one example:(it was some unpopular blog the article was with no comments)
“The hikers, Shane Bauer, Sarah Shourd, and Josh Fattal, were detained after they reportedly strayed across the Iranian border while on a recreational hiking trip in Iraqi Kurdistan. They have been held now for five months without access to legal counsel or their families.”
is it normal???? but there is no channel who would show this small tradegy of few families…

Great article as ever Chas! Thanks for your tireless work striving to get the truth out there. I love the phrase “comment is free, facts are sacrificed” – will try to use it often!
Katie Piper meanwhile, is a very brave young lady and I watched with mortification and also admiration the documentary about her terrible ordeal and struggle to fight back and win back her life. I was shocked to learn that the attack on her happened on our very own Golders Green Road.
The Jews are beginning finally to fight back too, as fully deserving and contributing members of UK society – peacefully and with articulation, not with violence and terror! Love ya Chaz-Newkey-B!

Good piece Chas. It is not only the detestable Jon Snow’s Israel-bashing which makes Channel 4 so unwatchable. Other newsreaders, like Alex Thomson, also have an anti-Israel bias.

Another one, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, gave Holocaust-denier David Irving a feather-bed landing interview after he lost his court case against Deborah Lipstadt, author of “Denying the Holocaust.”

I now stick to Channel 5 and enjoy its serialised US blood-and-guts thrillers, like CSI and NCIS and, of course, newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky.

Interesting postscript about Jon Snow:

In January he presented a Dispatches show called Unseen Gaza, in which he complained about how tightly the Israeli government controlled the media during Operation Cast Lead.

Not once did he acknowledge that it was people like him, lying about the Hamas rockets and hurling abuse at Mark Regev, that led to Israel taking such a stance. His lack of self-awareness is astonishing.
