I’ve only just realised that someone has made a really cool video about the BUYcott campaign based on the text of my recent post about it.
It’s great that word about the campaign is spreading and on a personal note I’m honoured to have my writing featured – and in such an opening-titles-of-Star-Wars style. Good stuff.

I sent the Buycott video ALL of my friends to UK,
BTW when i first seen their boycott site with the list of the Companies , products to boycott, I sent them a thank you note for providing the information and mentioned I will ( and did) send it on to all of my friends both in UK and Italy, so they would know WHERE and WHAT to Buy lol
Great video. Duvid is currently munching his way through a plate of Yarden parev veggie salami sandwiches in honour of it. This gives him the inspiration to hope for a future Avi-Chas co-production full-length feature film about the BUYcott.
On reflection, what about an Israeli re-make of “The Fabulous Baker Boys,” newly entitled “The BUYcott Bagel Boys.”
The piano scene: Chas, resplendent in full evening dress sits at the grand piano biting one end of a bagel marked “made in Israel,” while Bar Rafaeli crawls enticingly along the piano lid, her sequined low-cut evening dress riding up provocatively as she stretches her swan-like neck to take a bite out of the other side of Chas’s bagel.
Meanwhile, a sub-plot unfolds, with Avi stuck at home doing the BUYcott Bagel Boys’ book-keeping and tax-returns, while dreaming of Bar and bagels. This reminds Duvid that he needs to complete his own tax return real soon.

On second thoughts, Rafaeli, Refaeli, Refa-shmelly. Some re-casting is clearly necessary, since Bar now lives in Los Angeles and refuses to serve in the IDF. Step forward the younger and smoking-hotter Esti Ginsburg, soldier!:
