Yes! The first (week) anniversary! I had a lovely time thank you Hadar and that is largely down to yourself, your sister and your mother! Thanks for everything!

    Hi Chas and everyone.

I’ve just got back from my first trip to Israel and Wow what a country and what a people, absolutely fabulous. Spent time in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and was made very welcome indeed by kind, polite and helpful Israelis.

It was a pleasure to be there. Can’t wait till I go back. Did a tour of loads of museums and went to the Kotel (which is awe inspiring) and celebrated Purim in a lovely progressive shul in Tel Aviv.

Hopefully I won’t have to wait for next year to be in Jerusalem again.

There is so much that impressed me from the helpfulness of the people, the efficient Egged Buses, the food and the general attitude of Israelis having justified pride in their country. I was struck by how very much different the country is from what I saw from the descriptions of Israel given by the not so great and good of the British Left.

Fantastic and can’t wait to be back. I feel I’ve left a little bit of myself behind there now I’ve left and come back to the UK.

Wonderful and I hope Chas will let me gush more about my trip later.
