scorchio!
My spanish isn’t good, But I think they mention that you blog sometimes about a friend of yours in the IDF.
umm….i think Tal can understand it a bit….or one of my friend… but it still cool you were on spanish tv and israeli tv!!!
idiot computer…~~” sorry about the replay… it doesn;t need to be replay… ~~” sorry about that
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the past two weeks it’s that there are more ways to pronounce ‘Chas Newkey Burden’ than I ever thought possible!
My son has a Spanish tutor and I work with a lovely Spanish woman so I will certainly ask and try and get you a translation asap.
I don’t want to burst your bubble, or diminish your achievements, but infolive.tv is actually based in Jerusalem.

I was curious as I live in Spain and the presenter speaks with a South American, possibly Argentinian, accent.
Maybe a better title for this post would be “Oy Va Goy in Spanish on Israeli TV”
Kudos nonetheless, enhorabuena!
As a long-time ‘lurker’ and fan of Oy Va Goy who happens to speak Spanish, I’m happy to provide you with a translation of the transcript accompanying the youtube video (assuming its accuracy). Just want to point out that it is probably unscripted as the original Spanish is rather disjointed. Here goes, then:
“‘Once in a Lifetime’ is a new project that aims to show the positive side of Israel in the blogs or on the websites of specific writers.
Four bloggers are currently visiting Israel as part of this project. One of them, Chas Newkey-Burden from the UK (37), is a blog author. He points out that he isn’t Jewish, so people reading his posts and watching his videos can assume that he has his own voice and that his messages are unbiased.
Burden wrote about his viewpoint on Israel in his blog OyvaGoy, created during the Israeli military operation Cast Lead, with the aim of explaining Israel to the world.
Burden says that the mainstream media in Britain are anti-Israel, and that blogs are a good way to redress the balance. One example of this, he notes, is when one of the British MSM outlets stated that Israelis weren’t injured by rocket fire, and he published statistics [proving the contrary] in response.
Together with three other bloggers, Burden arrived in Israel to meet people like Noam Shalit and to take part in in a ten-day tour of the different parts of Jerusalem and Israel as a whole as part of the Once in a Lifetime project, and thus to discover the current Israeli reality vis-à-vis the world.”
Thanks – so kind of you! Really appreciate it.
