The organisers of Once In A Lifetime are filming official videos of our trip. Here are the first two days, including the Old City of Jerusalem and the Dead Sea.

Some of the Once In A Lifetime team having a little sing in the magical town of Ein Karem. We had a lovely day today.

Today we volunteered at Mahane Yehuda Market and attended Shabbat service at a Jerusalem synagogue. Amazing.

This is Dan Redford, a wonderful guy and one of my fellow bloggers on the Once In A Lifetime trip.

We’ve been in the Old City of Jerusalem and also to the Dead Sea. Here are my reflections…

Today we were at the Dead Sea. One of the highlights was visiting the Masada fortress. Feeling the history of this place that was built two thousand years ago was wonderful and intense.

It was 45 degrees up there but we didn’t let that stop us testing the amazing echo opportunities. We each chose our own thing to shout. Turn your volume down a little bit and see what my fellow blogger Sunny and me shouted together…

So there we were, walking towards Mount Zion, when our lovely tour guide, Liron Soffer, added some music to the fun.

Bet you can’t guess which song…

It’s been another great day in Israel. Here is my video report!
