I received another foreign edition of one of my books today. It was the Brazilian edition of my Amy Winehouse biography, and very nice it looks too. But the most exciting aspect is that there is a television advert in Brazil for my book! See below.
My Amy and Paris Hilton biogs are selling well overseas. At the last count, the Amy book had been sold to Belgium, France, Brazil, Holland and Finland. The Paris book has so far gone to Sweden, Russia, France, Finland and Japan. Bravo!
I see that the ghastly, hypocritical Al Gore has thrown his toys out of the pram because he thinks the world cares more about Paris Hilton than saving the planet.
Well, Al, I for one certainly care far more about Paris than I do about the discredited scaremongering you are using to relaunch your career. I think any right-minded person would feel the same. So get over it!
As Paris would probably put it: “Global warming – that’s hot!”
I see Paris Hilton has completed her second album. Hurry up and release it, Paris. 
Well, she’d be a better choice than Barack Obama.
I’m excited that both the biographies I’ve written have been snapped up for foreign editions. So far, Amy Winehouse: The Biography has been sold to five countries – including Brazil, France and Finland – and Paris Hilton: Life On The Edge has gone to Japan, Russia, France and Sweden.
These editions will mostly appear over the next few months, although I have a copy of the Dutch edition of the Amy book already and it’s trippy to see my words translated into Dutch. They’ve even made her look more Dutch on the cover!
Ironically, I saw the English edition of my Amy biog on sale in Amsterdam last week. Not that I ever trawl bookshops searching for copies of my own books, you understand!
