Eli, that’s about one of the most sensible comments I’ve ever read on here, and thankfully, the most likely outcome of this whole mess. Israel ultimately will have no choice but to withdraw to the 1967 boarder if it ever wants to live without being vilified & attacked. Jerusalem, due to its contested nature & historical importance, should be a universal city, administered by the UN. Pipe dream, but so are the aims of the Zionists & Palestinians, but there is no choice if the violence, on both sides, is ever to cease. The Zionists & Palestinians will otherwise argue & fight forever, as despite the rhetoric, neither side can ever achieve their ultimate aims.
